The Heritage Foundation has done a great job of converting Federal budget statistics into easy-to-understand graphics.
Facts regarding Wisconsin’s budget repair bill are non-filtered and precise in Scott Fitzgerald’s (Wisconsin State Senator, Senate Majority Leader) letter to the workers and families of Wisconsin, dated February 15, 2010.
As is usually the case, liberals won’t play if they can’t get their way and 14 Democrat state senators fled the Wisconsin statehouse to avoid performing a duty they were elected for – voting on bills. This is another in a long line of examples of how liberals govern in their fantasy tax-and-spend-never-pay-the-piper fashion-and-if-you-don’t-agree-I’ll-take-my-toys-and-go-away. What has happened to the will of the people? Continue Reading »

Why do liberal politicans and union leaders have their panties in a twist? Common sense budget planning by Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker pummel the liberal tax-and-spend philosophy.
The huff is about Walker’s Budget Repair Bill. What does the bill actually do?
- Ask government workers to pay half the cost of their pensions – still less than private employees pay for their pensions
- Ask government workers to pay 12% of their own health insurance premiums – the national average for the private sector is over 20%
- End collective bargaining for government unions for pensions and benefits. Allow bargaining only for raises that are less than inflation.
- End forced union dues, collected by the state. Union dues would become voluntary.
- Union members get to vote yearly on whether to keep their union.
Common sense plans to cut spending, reduce deficits, live within a budget, and to cease taxing everything — including the air we breath — no wonder liberals don’t get it. Their elitist pedestal is about to disintegrate into a pile of dust. Why? Because this isn’t just about Wisconsin, it’s about all 50 states and the promises made by a new breed of conservative politicians to halt spending, reduce government size and return our country to The People. The letter, posted below in its entirety, was received from American Solutions in regard to the total disrespect and disregard displayed by 35 Democratic Senators toward the American people and their will.
As noted in Mr. Varroney’s letter, 35 Democratic Senators blocked an amendment to repeal a costly reporting requirement for small businesses – a hidden cost discovered after the behemoth ObamaCare law was passed. Remember, Nancy Pelosi stated, “We must pass the bill to see what’s in it.”

Absolutely absurd words spoken by our “it’s everybody’s fault but my own” President Barack Obama.
The lame stream media should be hung by their toe nails for not reporting Obama’s latest demonization of conservatives. The President has taken it upon himself to join the campaign trail to help liberals smear the names and reputations of good men and women.
Some say we are starting to see Obama’s ‘true’ personality, yet I disagree. For all of us not drinking the Kool-Aid, we saw him for the un-experienced, self indulging, self-centered, classless, mean-spirited, narcissist that he is when he started to appear on the national political scene.
On the campaign trail, Obama said Republicans were responsible for the bad economy but that he has made progress in pulling the “car from the ditch” adding, “We can’t have special interests sitting shotgun. We gotta have middle-class families up in the front. We don’t mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in the back.”
Can you imagine the heyday the liberal-biased media would have if that statement were to come from a Republican or Tea Party member? It’s the same as saying Black African Americans must sit at the back of the bus.
So, I take offense with you, Mr. Obama. For degrading a conservative’s right to free speech, right to an opinion, and our right to disagree with your outlandish, Marxist-forming policies. I take the same offense that you would if I were tell you to sit in the back.

MEMO FOR THE MOVEMENT – CAP MEMO-Spending Cuts
The following is contained within the attached “cap memo — spending cuts” as released from The Heritage Foundation:
RE: Congress left town without passing a budget; the country kept losing jobs during “Recovery Summer;” and President Obama admitted there are no such things as “shovel ready” projects—but the excessive spending by the federal government continues. ISSUE-IN-BRIEF: Listed below are 10 specific spending cuts that Congress can get to work on when it returns. Many, many more spending cuts have been recommended by a variety of budget experts—but here is a start:1. Repeal ObamaCare
Save taxpayers over $1 trillion dollars.

In today’s era of home foreclosures, failed business, plummeting stocks, near ten percent unemployment and no sign that the end is near — King and Queen Barack Obama have decided to book the entire 570 room Taj Mahal Hotel, complete with all banquet rooms and restaurants for their November 6 Mumbai, India trip.
Oh wait…it gets better. Apparently 570 rooms isn’t quite large enough for the Obama entourage. Security contingent and staff will comprise a huge number, 125 rooms to be exact, at Taj President, and 80 to 90 rooms each in the Grand Hyatt and The Oberoi hotels have also been booked for staff. The NCPA, where the President is expected to meet representatives from the business community, has also been entirely booked.

For the third time in just over one month, President Obama has refused to include any mention of the “Creator” in his recitation of the Declaration of Independence.
The Founders believed that “all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.”
